The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is allocating $500,000 in grants to support statewide training and technical assistance for victim service organizations. The funding targets nonprofits that serve survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking, with a focus on providing empowerment-based, trauma-informed and culturally grounded services. Awards will cover the period from December 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027.

Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits with a history of providing statewide technical assistance, training, and policy advocacy for organizations supporting domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking victims. They must also be designated as a domestic or sexual violence coalition in Michigan by the Office on Violence Against Women. Grant applications are due November 6.
