The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a resolution on October 20 in support of the San Bernardino Community College District's Legacy Village housing project, committing $28 million from the Foster Youth Campus Reserve toward its development, according to the county.

The project will include 88 affordable housing units, 180 workforce housing units, and 461 student housing beds. The development will also feature approximately 9,100 square feet for food services and flexible use, and 9,280 square feet for conferences and community meetings.

The San Bernardino Community College District will lead the project, partnering with Jamboree Housing Corporation to develop the affordable units and The Annex Group, LLC for the workforce and student housing. The development is designed to serve transitional-age former foster youth.
