Nevada's attorney general filed an appeal Monday in a case involving 2020 fake electors who attempted to undermine the results of the 2020 presidential election. Attorney General Aaron D. Ford's office filed the appeal on Oct. 12, according to a statement from his office.
"The job of my office is to seek justice, and we will continue to do so in this case," Ford said in his statement. He added that his office believes the district court's decision was wrong and is confident the Nevada Supreme Court will agree.
According to Ford, the fake electors' actions constituted an attack on democracy itself. The state's attorney general said he looks forward to continuing the legal work needed to hold those responsible accountable.
