Oregon launched an online tool to help consumers explore health insurance options for 2027 before Open Enrollment begins, the Oregon Health Authority announced.
The Plan Guide, available through Explore Health, allows users to search individual health and dental plans available in their area, compare costs and benefits, and determine eligibility for financial assistance through the marketplace or the Oregon Health Plan.
The tool comes as the state's health insurance market undergoes significant changes. Providence and PacificSource will no longer offer individual health plans in Oregon, and Moda will be available only in select counties.
"Choosing health insurance can feel overwhelming, especially when plans and coverage options are changing," said Chiqui Flowers, director of the Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace. "The Plan Guide gives you a chance to explore options before Open Enrollment begins so you can better understand what coverage and financial help may be available."
Open Enrollment for 2027 coverage runs from November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. The tool is available now and does not enroll users in coverage. Explore Health is Oregon's new state-based marketplace for individuals and families who do not have access to affordable coverage through their job and are not eligible for public medical programs.
