Colorado Man Arrested on 12 Counts of Child Sexual Exploitation

A 39-year-old Longmont resident turned himself in after investigation revealed possession of thousands of child sexual abuse images and videos.

A 39-year-old Longmont man turned himself in on October 8, 2026, on charges related to possession of child sexual exploitation material. Bryan Glyn Tylor faces twelve counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of tampering with physical evidence.

The investigation began when the Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab received child sexual exploitation material during a peer-to-peer file sharing investigation. Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators identified Tylor as a suspect and obtained a search warrant for his residence in the 500 block of E. 16th Avenue in Longmont.

Detectives, assisted by the Longmont SWAT Team, served the warrant and seized electronic devices. Examination of the digital evidence resulted in the discovery of thousands of child sexual exploitation videos and images.

Tylor is being held without bond and faces charges under Colorado law: six counts of sexual exploitation of a child – possession of video (Class 4 Extraordinary Risk Felony); six counts of sexual exploitation of a child – possession of images (Class 5 Extraordinary Risk Felony); and one count of tampering with physical evidence (Class 6 Felony). The tampering charge relates to conduct during execution of the warrant.

The investigation involved the Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab, Longmont Department of Public Safety, Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Boulder County District Attorney's Office, and Boulder Police Department. The Boulder County Sheriff's Office case number is 26-02038.
