Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed three bipartisan bills addressing mental health care access, consumer data protection, and government efficiency.
Senate Bill 413, sponsored by state Senator Paul Wojno, expands access to mental health care by modernizing licensing requirements for limited license psychologists.
Senate Bill 198, sponsored by state Senator Sam Singh, prohibits third parties from accessing protected auto dealer customer data without prior authorization.
Senate Bill 102, sponsored by state Senator Paul Wojno, increases efficiency of county tax document requests to facilitate economic projects, housing research, and public access to records.
"Michiganders deserve systems that work for them," Whitmer said. "These three bipartisan bills protect people's data, make it easier to access important information, and expand opportunities for Michiganders to get the health care they need."
