Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported ten individuals with criminal histories in late September and early October, the Department of Homeland Security announced. The individuals had convictions related to gang activity, murder, assault, robbery, weapons offenses, and drug crimes.
The deportees included Manuel Barahona-Rivera, an MS-13 gang member from Honduras deported September 30 with convictions for second-degree murder and marijuana possession; Jose Balmory Ramirez Rodriguez, an MS-13 gang member from El Salvador deported October 2 with convictions for first-degree manslaughter, prison contraband possession, and assault; and Jorge Andres Chirinos, a suspected 116 gang member from Mexico deported September 30 with convictions for second-degree murder and terroristic threats.
Also deported were Jose Refugio Rangel Machuca, a Compton Varrio 70's gang member from Mexico with convictions for two counts of attempted murder and shooting at an inhabited dwelling; Jaime Ramirez-Diaz, a suspected Sinaloa Cartel member from Mexico with convictions for armed robbery and shoplifting; and Ever Magdiel Mejia-Vasquez, a suspected Maravilla Salva Trucha gang member from Honduras with convictions for cocaine possession for sale, assault with a firearm, and robbery.
Additional deportees included Pedro Ruiz-Cisneros, a Barrio Azteca gang member from Mexico deported October 2 with convictions for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, theft, and robbery; Maria Solis-Iriqui, a suspected Crips gang member from Mexico deported October 1 with convictions for assault, property damage, theft, and drug possession; Marvin Ernesto Leon-Ceron, an MS-13 gang member from El Salvador deported September 29 with a conviction for second-degree assault; and Isidro Cruz-Estefina, a Latin Kings gang member from Mexico deported September 30 with convictions for burglary and weapon possession. Cruz-Estefina had been deported previously in 2004 and 2009.
