AE Works, a building design and consulting firm, relocated its headquarters to downtown Pittsburgh, establishing its new office in the historic Union Trust Building in the central business district.

The move from outside the city represents a reinvestment in the company's hometown. The company is approaching its 20th anniversary in 2027 and has grown from a Pittsburgh startup into a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm.

Mayor Corey O'Connor said the relocation represents "a great investment in the vibrancy and future of our city by bringing more people, more jobs and expanding our tax base."

Michael Cherock, Founder and CEO of AE Works, said the new downtown location provides "a central home for its growing team while strengthening connections to clients, partners, and the broader Pittsburgh business community."
