Rep. Stacy Jo Adams of Duncan has been selected as a 2026 Elected Woman of Excellence by the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL).
Adams, who was first elected to the Oklahoma House in 2024 and represents House District 50, serves as vice chair of the House Insurance Committee and sits on the Appropriations and Budget Public Safety Subcommittee, the Commerce and Economic Development Oversight Committee, and the General Government Committee.
The NFWL says the award recognizes elected women who have demonstrated dedication to public service while helping create opportunities for women in public office. Adams will receive official recognition at the NFWL Annual Conference scheduled for Nov. 9-11 in Nashville, Tennessee.
