The Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner is holding its third workshop for survivors of the Spokane Complex Fires, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 12, according to an announcement from the office.

The workshops began in August in response to the fires. The Oct. 12 session will cover navigating the first months of recovery, including debris removal, replacement estimates, and individual claim assistance. Insurance experts will answer questions during the workshop.

"The insurance claims process can be overwhelming," Insurance Commissioner Patty Kuderer said. "These in-person workshops will help guide you through each step of the process, from filing your claim to rebuilding."
