U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 15 individuals over the weekend who have been convicted of serious crimes, the Department of Homeland Security announced. The arrests included people convicted of murder, rape, sexual assault, and possession of controlled substances for sale.
According to the agency, the individuals arrested included Juan Rodriguez from Mexico, convicted of murder in Kingston, New York; Herma Perez-Caballero from Cuba, convicted of homicide, aggravated assault with a gun, and robbery in Las Vegas, Nevada; Jose Luis Arias-Guevara from El Salvador, convicted of rape of a child in Bridgewater, Massachusetts; and Juan Jose Rodriguez-Maldonado from Mexico, convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim less than 13 years old in Chicago, Illinois.
Additional arrests announced included individuals from Guatemala, Honduras, and Morocco convicted of crimes ranging from sexual abuse of minors to drug trafficking for sale across multiple states. The full list is available on the DHS website at WOW.DHS.gov.
