The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services launched the QuitLogix app, bringing mobile support to its Tobacco Quitlink smoking cessation program. Available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the app was developed based on feedback from current users to make the program more accessible and user-friendly.

The app offers several features including reminders to support quit attempts, support across multiple platforms (app, website, and phone), and resources in both English and Spanish. It includes a dedicated dashboard for young adults ages 18 to 24, and participants can order nicotine replacement therapy products like patches or gum through the app.

The Michigan Tobacco Quitlink is a free and confidential service. According to the state, the program has helped more than 1.5 million people quit tobacco. People seeking help can call 800-QUIT-NOW (800-784-8669) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or text and chat with a coach online. More information is available at Michigan.gov/Quitlink.
