Ballots and voting equipment for Boulder County's November general election have passed a required pre-election test, according to the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder's Office. Representatives from local Democratic and Republican parties conducted the Logic and Accuracy Test (LAT) this week, confirming the equipment properly reads ballots and accurately tabulates votes.
The test verified that all 3,628 ballots—including mail ballots and ballots generated from ballot marking devices—were correctly printed and the equipment was properly calibrated. All ballot styles were tested, officials said.
Equipment used in the test has been cleared of test votes and reset to zero, ensuring it is ready to count live ballots. Test results and records are available for review at BoulderCountyVotes.gov.
Mail ballots are expected to arrive at voters' homes beginning this week. Vote centers will open to the public starting Monday, October 19.
Colorado has no registration deadline, and eligible voters may register through Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, with a 22-day residency requirement. However, Monday, October 26 is the last day to register and still receive a mailed ballot; voters registering after that date must visit a Vote Center to request a ballot.
