Culver City will reimburse rideshare fares during bus suspension

The city will cover up to $20 per trip for riders who normally use Culver CityBus from October 2-4.

Culver City will reimburse riders for rideshare expenses up to $20 per trip during a temporary suspension of Culver CityBus service from October 2 through October 4, 2026, according to a city notice.

Eligible riders must submit documentation of rideshare costs to the city's Transportation Department. Proof of payment should identify the date, cost, trip origin and destination. Riders must also provide information to identify their TAP card account.

Approved reimbursement amounts will be credited directly to riders' TAP card accounts. Riders should submit documentation to CityBus@culvercity.gov. The city will review submitted documentation and process eligible TAP card credits as promptly as possible.

Culver CityBus service is scheduled to resume Monday, October 5, 2026.
