The Treasury Department's Financial Literacy and Education Commission released an updated U.S. National Strategy for Financial Literacy, establishing four priority areas for financial education.

The priorities are youth financial capability, saving and investing, digital financial literacy, and scams and fraud education. According to the commission, the strategy identifies best practices for delivering financial education, including providing actionable and timely education at key financial decision points, tailoring education to individual life stages, and reinforcing concepts over time.

The strategy also promotes new savings and investment vehicles, such as Trump Accounts, designed for children and families to save and invest together.
