The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced that Inland Label & Marketing Services' three La Crosse facilities have been accepted into the Green Tier program. The facilities are located at 2009 West Avenue South, 3030 Airport Road and 672 Breezy Point Road, according to the DNR.
Green Tier Tier 1 recognizes companies that implement environmental management systems to improve their operations. Inland, which manufactures labels and packaging for food, beverage and consumer products, also operates a Tier 1 facility in Neenah.
The company plans to continue efforts to reduce landfill waste, energy use and volatile organic compound emissions, as well as measure and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its La Crosse operations.
