Oregon Health Authority said it will not proceed with proposed fee increases for psilocybin licensees and will not adopt final rules from its current rulemaking process.

The decision came after feedback from the Oregon Psilocybin Advisory Board, rule advisory committees, and the public during a comment period, according to a statement from the agency.

OHA licenses psilocybin facilitators, manufacturers, service centers, and laboratories under the state's psilocybin services program. The agency said it will notify all licensees, community partners, and board members of the decision.

The agency said it will begin a new rulemaking process in coming weeks to consider other proposed psilocybin program rule changes that were unrelated to the fee increases, with a planned effective date of Jan. 15, 2027.
