California authorities arrested 15 suspects and seized over 2,500 pounds of methamphetamine during a coordinated federal and state raid on September 17, 2026, the California Department of Justice announced.
The California Department of Justice, working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement, executed an early morning raid on multiple locations associated with a methamphetamine conversion lab operation and suspected drug trafficking organization in Fresno County.
Agents also seized over 500 gallons of methamphetamine in solution, which could have been processed to produce more than 2,000 additional pounds of crystal methamphetamine. They recovered 21 guns and more than $20,000 in cash.
The investigation involved the High Impact Investigation Team, FBI, Kings County Sheriff's Office, Fresno County Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security Investigations, Drug Enforcement Administration, California Cannabis Control, and Madera County Sheriff's Office. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of California will handle prosecution.
