California's Attorney General filed a misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter against Kings County Superior Court Judge Kendra Weber for a fatal collision involving a bicyclist, the Attorney General's office said.
The charge, filed in Kings County Superior Court, alleges that Weber struck and killed a bicyclist while driving in September 2025. The Attorney General's office said the charge represents one count of vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence under California Penal Code.
The Attorney General's office noted that criminal charges are allegations only, and that defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
