Man Charged in Fatal Virginia Stabbing; ICE Lodges Detainer

Freddi Chigo Mil has been charged with second-degree murder and malicious wounding after a stabbing in Staunton, Virginia on August 30 that left one woman dead and another injured.

Staunton Police responded to a 911 call and found two female victims with stab wounds. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Police arrested Mil at the scene.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement lodged a detainer with the Middle River Regional Jail on the same day of Mil's arrest. According to ICE, Mil is an illegal alien from Mexico who entered the United States at an unknown date and location.
