The Arizona Department of Transportation completed a $2.4 million bridge rehabilitation project on State Route 77 near Holbrook. The Little Colorado Bridge project, which began in April, rehabilitated aging infrastructure serving Northern Arizona.

Crews milled and repaired the existing bridge deck and bridge joints, and replaced the roadway pavement on the north end of the bridge to Joy Nevin Avenue. Slope paving under the bridges was rehabilitated, and the guardrails and pavement markers in the project area were replaced.

To minimize disruption, the department ensured the work required no detours or full closures of SR 77 in the project area.
