Texas regulators announced that TDLR CORE, a new online licensing system, is expected to launch by November 2026, allowing licensees to submit applications, renew licenses, and manage their accounts digitally.
The system will initially cover five professional licensing programs: Auctioneers, Property Tax Consultants, Used Automotive Parts Recyclers, Water Well Drillers and Pump Installers, and Continuing Education providers for those professions.
Through the portal, users will be able to submit initial license applications, renew licenses, manage licenses, and update contact information. The system will also allow real-time tracking of application status and the ability to respond to information requests from regulators.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (TDLR) encouraged licensees to add or update their email addresses in preparation for the launch. Additional professional licensing programs will be added to TDLR CORE as the project progresses.
