U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested five individuals with criminal convictions in a single day of operations, the agency announced. The arrests included people convicted of crimes against children, violent assault, robbery, and fraud across multiple states.
Luis Antonio Molina, from Mexico, was arrested in Franklin County, Ohio, where he had been convicted of aggravated robbery and endangering children. Adolfo Guzman-Ramirez, also from Mexico, was arrested in Ontario, California, where he had been convicted of molesting a victim under 18. Luis Fernando Hernandez-Guia, from Mexico, was arrested in Douglasville, Pennsylvania, where he had been convicted of strangulation.
In Boston, Massachusetts, Minh H. Nguyen, from Vietnam, was arrested for prior convictions on drug possession, discharge of a firearm, and assault and battery. Michel Reinoso-Gomez, from Cuba, was arrested in Miami, Florida, where he had been convicted of battery, identity theft, and bank fraud.
"Every day, the men and women of ICE are risking their lives to arrest and remove illegal aliens from our communities," said Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin. "Just yesterday, ICE arrested child abusers, robbers, identity thieves, fraudsters, and other dangerous criminals."
