The channel combines data from multiple CDC surveillance systems to provide a snapshot of drug overdoses in the country, the agency said. Users can explore national and state-level trends, access evidence-based prevention strategies, and find connections to CDC programs and tools that support prevention and response efforts.
The new resource is designed to make overdose data more accessible to public health officials, community organizations, and others working on prevention, according to the CDC. The channel also shows how CDC-funded programs are supporting communities across the country.
