Dallas Area Rapid Transit launched two public dashboards on Aug. 31 making monthly ridership data publicly available for the first time.
The dashboards show detailed ridership across DART's bus, commuter rail, light rail, paratransit and GoLink services, with data for communities throughout the agency's service area. A separate dashboard provides further light rail ridership detail.
"The development of these ridership dashboards brought together expertise and input from teams across DART to create a more accessible and transparent view of ridership information," said David Leininger, DART's Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. "It's a testament to our collective commitment to showcasing DART as a valued partner in the economic and social landscape of North Texas."
The dashboards provide comparisons between fiscal years 2025 and 2026, monthly and day-of-week ridership data across all modes, city-specific ridership information, and comparisons across DART's service area cities. Data will be updated and published monthly.
Dart serves a 700-square-mile region including Dallas, Arlington, Irving, Plano, Garland and other cities, moving more than 171,000 passengers daily.
