Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported five individuals with criminal convictions last week, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Ian Rosales Castro, from Ecuador, was deported Aug. 21. He had convictions for second-degree murder and kidnapping with intent to collect ransom in New York and manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance in Texas. Castro entered the United States illegally at an unknown date and location and received a removal order from an Immigration Judge on Dec. 12, 2006.
Jesus Avilas-Urquiza, from Bolivia, was deported Aug. 21 after his legal admission period ended in July 2000. He had two convictions for criminal sex assault with force in Illinois and received a removal order on July 28, 2026.
Erlin Molina-Ramos, from Honduras, was deported Aug. 22 with a conviction for third-degree rape of a minor in New York. He received a removal order on July 30, 2026.
Ruben Gonzalez-Gazpar, from Mexico, was deported Aug. 21 with convictions for arson, hit-and-run, vandalism, drug possession, and trespassing in California. He received an initial removal order on March 12, 2008, was deported that month, and then illegally re-entered the country.
Andy Gomez-Niebla, from Cuba, was deported Aug. 21 with a conviction for robbery in Michigan. He received a removal order on June 8, 2026.
