U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported five individuals last week with convictions for serious crimes, the Department of Homeland Security said.
Naing Nyi Min from Burma was deported August 23 after convictions for vehicular homicide and reckless endangerment in Washington. He was legally admitted to the U.S. in September 2022 but his authorized status was terminated in December 2024 following his criminal convictions. An immigration judge issued his removal order on August 6, 2026.
Juana Venegas Hernandez from Mexico was deported August 23 after a conviction for vehicular manslaughter in Idaho. An immigration judge issued her removal order on August 10, 2026.
Bernardino Cruz-Cortes from Mexico was deported August 22 after a conviction for sexual assault of a child in Texas. An immigration judge issued his removal order on August 14, 2026.
Jorge Cabrera Alarcon from Guatemala was deported August 23 after a conviction for sex assault on a child in Larimer County, Colorado. An immigration judge issued his removal order on August 12, 2026.
Miguel Angel Guel Herrera from Mexico was deported August 23 after convictions for driving under the influence and burglary. He had been previously deported in 2012 after arrest by the U.S. Border Patrol in May 2009, and then illegally re-entered the U.S.
