The Colorado Public Utilities Commission will begin accepting public comment at its weekly commissioner meetings starting Wednesday, Sept. 9.
The meetings, held at 9 a.m. every Wednesday (excluding holidays), will operate virtually each week. On the second Wednesday of each month, the commission will offer hybrid meetings where people can also comment in person.
"The Commission values public comments from residents, and by making it a weekly opportunity, we hope to hear and engage more with the public," said PUC Commission Chair Eric Blank.
Public input at the weekly meetings cannot address pending regulatory cases, that meeting's agenda items, or active proceedings, the commission said. People with comments on specific matters can submit them through the agency's online portal, email, phone, or mail.
Advance registration is encouraged but not required.
