Colorado's Elections Division announced that Proposed Initiative #362, "Mail Ballot Voter Identification," has qualified for the November 3, 2026 general election ballot after meeting signature requirements.
Proponents submitted 180,110 petition signatures. The Elections Division verified that 133,321 signatures were valid, exceeding both the statewide threshold of 124,238 signatures required for all initiatives and the district-level requirements. Proposed Initiative #362 would amend the Colorado Constitution, requiring signatures from each of the state's 35 senate districts equal to two percent of registered electors in that district.
The Elections Division confirmed that all 35 senate districts met the required number of valid signatures.
