The Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline doubled its standard offer of free nicotine replacement therapy for September, providing eight weeks of free patches, gum or lozenges instead of the typical four weeks, according to the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust.
The expanded offer is available to Oklahomans at least 21 years old who sign up for helpline services. The helpline provides personalized quit plans, coach support, live group sessions, and phone, text and email support.
The Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline has supported more than half a million registrants over its more than 20-year history. The program has been funded by TSET since 2003.
