Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and the state Department of Health Services launched a statewide Injury and Violence Prevention Strategic Plan, outlining five priority areas for reducing injuries, violence, and violent deaths. The plan is the first statewide injury and violence prevention plan in more than a decade.
The plan was developed alongside state partners and focus groups. "For the first time in over ten years, we have a plan that represents the shared vision for injury and violence prevention in Wisconsin and provides a roadmap to continue this important work over the next five years," Gov. Evers said.
