Dallas Area Rapid Transit's GoPass mobility platform was awarded the 2026 Innovative Solutions Award by METRO Magazine, which recognizes transit agencies, technology providers, and industry partners for advancing public transportation through innovation and operational excellence.

Originally developed by DART for its North Texas customers, GoPass has since been adopted by 14 transit agencies nationwide. The app combines trip planning, fare payment, service information, rider notifications, fare capping, and access to additional services including microtransit, paratransit, bike sharing, and scooters.

The platform has been downloaded more than three million times and holds a 4.8-star rating on the App Store. It supports more than 8 million active users annually.

"This recognition reflects DART's long-standing commitment to innovation and to supplying technology that makes public transportation easier, more connected, and more convenient for riders," said Jeamy Molina, DART's executive vice president and chief communications officer.
