The webinar is the first in a series about the many services and initiatives available to businesses through the Department of Labor.
During the webinar, attendees received an overview of the BAO and how they assist the business community.
That topic was followed by a presentation focused on understanding tax credits and funding opportunities available through the Department.

As we pay tribute to those who lost their lives because of the attacks, we want to remind elected officials and their staff of the 9/11 Assistance programs that may be available to your constituents.The World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program provides no-cost medical monitoring and treatment for eligible responders and survivors, including residents, area workers, and students with health conditions related to their exposure on 9/11 and through July 2002.The September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) provides financial compensation for physical illnesses or deaths related to 9/11 for both responders and survivors, including residents, area workers, and students.
Applicants do not have to currently be sick to register.For more information, please visit the9/11 Assistance Programs webpage.

Each year, werecognize Hispanic history and culture of the United States, includingtheimportant influencesthe community has hadon art, cuisine, advocacy, and, especially, the labor movement.

These webinars will be held quarterly and will feature a topic overview followed by a Q&A session based on audience-submitted questions.Our webinars aim to address compliance with new labor laws.
