Wisconsin's Department of Health Services confirmed two new measles cases in Grant County residents, part of an ongoing outbreak in the southwestern portion of the state. As of the announcement, 36 cases have been confirmed and three are probable across the affected region, which includes Lafayette and Iowa Counties.
The two new Grant County cases are linked to confirmed cases in neighboring counties. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services and Grant County Health Department are continuing investigations to identify and notify people who may have been exposed to the virus.
No public exposure locations have been identified in connection with the outbreak cases, according to the state announcement.
