U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Pedro Guadarrama-Loza on August 13 during a controlled delivery operation in Georgia and seized 126 kilograms of methamphetamine. Guadarrama-Loza, a Mexican national, has prior convictions for drug trafficking and has been deported from the United States twice, ICE said.
According to HSI Atlanta, Guadarrama-Loza was observed retrieving packages during the controlled delivery operation. He also has prior arrests for driving without a valid driver's license in Georgia.
Guadarrama-Loza told authorities he illegally entered the United States near Austin, Texas in 2004. An immigration judge issued a removal order on May 8, 2008, and he was deported on May 15, 2008. He then illegally re-entered the United States and was deported a second time on June 22, 2017. He illegally entered the United States a third time at an unknown date and location, according to ICE.
