Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Three to the Tallahassee State College District Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Sara Bayliss and Jonathan Rees and the reappointment of Karen Moore to the Tallahassee State College District Board of Trustees.

Sara Bayliss

Bayliss is a College Admissions Advisor at St. John Paul II Catholic High School in Tallahassee and a Counselor at Game Plan College Admissions Counseling. Active in her community, she is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association Board of Directors. Bayliss earned her bachelor’s degree in management information systems and French from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree in business administration from Florida State University.

Jonathan Rees

Rees is a Partner for SBM Partners. Previously, he served as the Director of State Government Affairs for Anheuser-Busch, the Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and a Legislative Assistant for former State Representative and Congressman Ross Spano. Rees earned his bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Florida State University.

Karen Moore

Moore is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Moore Agency. Active in her community, she is the Chair of the Florida College System Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of the Florida Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the BioFlorida Board of Directors. Moore earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Central Florida.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
