Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Three to the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Thomas Mersch and the reappointment of Pierro Bussani and Linda Stoch to the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees.

Thomas Mersch

Mersch is Partner and General Counsel for Kelly Kronenberg. Active in his community, he is the Chair of the Florida Atlantic University College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board and a member of The Venture Mentoring Team Board of Directors. Mersch earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and his juris doctor from the University of Mississippi.

Pierro Bussani

Bussani is the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Hertz Global. Active in his community, he is a member of the CubeSmart Board of Trustees and the Cleveland Clinic of Weston Board of Trustees. Bussani earned his bachelor’s degree in international studies from American University and his juris doctor from the State University of New York.

Linda Stoch

Stoch is currently retired and previously served as the Owner of Innovative Interiors by Linda. Active in her community, she is the Co-Founder of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Carson Scholars Fund and is a member of the Haitian Evangelical Community Association Board of Directors. Stoch earned her bachelor’s degree in technical education from Witwatersrand Technical College.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
