The 64-team field for the 2026 NCAA Division 1 baseball championship is set and, as usual, it is packed with top Draft prospects, giving fans an opportunity to see players who are likely to hear their names called early in this year’s Draft , which will be held on July 11-12 in Philadelphia.

Of the 79 D1 players ranked in MLB Pipeline’s Top 150 Draft Prospects list , 65 of them are on the teams participating in this year’s tournament, including four of the top five overall prospects in this year’s Draft class, and 16 of the top 25.

2026 MLB Draft presented by Nippon Express July 11-12:

UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky, the No. 1 prospect in the class, leads the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament.

The Bruins will host the Los Angeles regional after posting a 48-6 record and becoming the first team to go wire-to-wire as the No. 1 team through the regular season since Baseball America started its rankings in 1981.

Georgia Tech catcher Vahn Lackey, UC Santa Barbara right-hander Jackson Flora and Alabama shortstop Justin Lebron join Cholowsky as top 5 prospects in the tournament.

UCLA and No. 2 seed Georgia Tech each have five Top 150 Draft prospects on their rosters, tops among the 64 teams. Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M have four apiece.
